Like coming home
Positive: I'm from Illinois so I love the old Midwest houses. This apartment reminded me of home. Old houses have unique architecture. It was simply cozy. I would book again if/when the opportunity arises.
Negative: I thought that there were only two apartments. It took me a while to understand why it sounded like other people were above my head. I got scared a few times as they went up and down the stairs. It sounded like someone was in my apartment. Once I figured it out I was ok.

Positive: What i liked about this place is the location is good, close to the fischer and the detroit opera house and we usually come down for a show and its about a 5 min drive to either. The bedding is clean and the fridge is big enough to hold everything. Very nice that the shampoo and conditioner and body wash is in the shower!! They also had a small amount of seasonings to use and a little coffee station that was so appreciated!! I also really liked having the option of a washer and dryer in case I needed to use either.
Negative: I didint like that the place was very very drafty. I found it very cold, especially the bathroom. Getting a space heater for the bathroom would be nice so when your getting out of the shower or tub you aren't freezing! If we didint have the door open the bathroom was ice cold. It is also a very old building and has an old heating system. The heater kept knocking throughout the night and it woke my partner and I up several times. If you are a light sleeper that is something to note. I also think the floors could have been cleaned better than they were but other than that it smelled nice and wasn't dirty. I also didint like that there was a full kitchen but hardly anything in it for cooking, we appreciated what was there but for future guests some pans would be lovely.

We enjoyed our stay there.
Positive: Well renovated 100-year old house.
Cosy and clean.
Good location.
Private parking.
Negative: Just a small recommendation that
- a kitchen exhaust blower in the kitchen.
- a table cloth be added to the dining table.

Very nice stay and had all we needed right there.
Positive: Was situated in a quiet neighborhood and easy to navigate to my destinations while visiting. Plenty of room inside.
Negative: I had a hard time with the entry door as it asked for the first 4 digits of phone number and wasn’t sure if that included the area code and the 1 at the beginning. Might be easier to use the last 4. Also the exterior door I couldn’t get to lock on my way out.
Good to know
